Serving all SoCal, since 2018. Coach Joseph Salem (25 years old) is currently a master trainer at LA Fitness. Joe has had a passion for fitness since he was 14 years old and began participating in various sports such as muay thai kickboxing, football, and wresting. During these years, Joe developed a passion for increasing strength and changing body compositon through strategic training and dieting. After learning the craft through countless mentors, coaches, and ebooks, Joe not only used the tools on himself but on his peers as well.
When Joe began college he was recruited as a fitness trainer for the highschool wrestling team and through his commitment to philanthropy volunteered as trainer for the elderly in the city of Irvine concurrently.
After graduating UCLA in 2022, Joe began his career in finance but still made fitness a priority in his personal life due to his understanding that work performance and being in control of one's diet and physical fitness are positively correlated. For this reason in 2024, Joe acquired his certified personal trainer designation from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Not only did this improve his own knowledge but allowed him to spread it to all who wish to master their own fitness.
Joe is aware that people come from all walks of life and have differing levels of motivation and current experience. Joe is patient and willing to work with all levels no matter what their specific goal is.
Joe believes in the importance of adhering to the Optimum Performance Model when conducting training sessions. Clients will be assessed and challenged according to their current level in the model.
